This website offers a glimpse of what our Post is about, what we do, and who we are. We are considered a small sized Post made up of about 474 members, serving our veterans and the community in which we live in Spokane County, Washington.
We meet on the Second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm. The Auxiliary meets the Second Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm.

The Spokane VFW Post 51 is a non-profit organization serving veterans and promoting Americanism in the community in which we live. The history of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 51, Spokane, Washington, securing it’s charter on April 13th, 1915. There were 224 original charter members of our Post. On April 29, 1916, the Ladies Auxiliary was chartered with 33 members. On August 21st, 2015 the phrase Ladies was removed and henceforth known as Post 51 Auxiliary.
